Knee Pain Relief
Knee Pain Relief Video
If you’ve got sore knees, exercise might seem like the hardest thing you can do but it’s also one of the best. Simple home exercises and stretches can help ease some common types of knee pain. The right combination of nutrition, strengthening and stretching exercises can help ease pain by strengthening the thigh and calf muscles which can improve range of motion and flexibility.
Knee strengthening exercises do not affect the knee joint directly, but exercising can certainly strengthen the muscles surrounding it. Building strong thigh muscles in the legs can help provide the support for our knees and this may help to alleviate pressure and strain on these joints. My goal in providing this video is to help relieve some pain and become more active. Remember nutrition always plays a key role in our overall health and well-being.
30 Minute Knee Pain Relief Video
This video is approximately 30 minutes in length and contains both sitting and standing exercises. All of these exercises are very low impact and are focused on building strength in the thigh and calf muscles. Strengthening the muscles that support your knee will help reduce stress on your knee joint.
Strong muscles in the front of your thigh (quadriceps) and back of your thigh (hamstrings) help your knee joint absorb shock. The less strain on your knee, the better the chances are for pain relief. Remember to go at your own pace and always consult with your physician before you proceed with any of these exercises if you are concerned.
